Notes for the Genus:

Oscularia

The genus Oscularia is found in the Western Cape Province, extending into the Northern Cape Province in South Africa. The plants form small erect or spreading shrubs with red stems and odd, grayish-green, very waxy, three-angled, club-shape to sickle-shaped leaves. The beautiful pink flowers are almond-scented. The plants are easy to grow and ideal for rockeries or garden plantings. They do best in full sun and like lots of water. They are easily propagated by seed or from cuttings.
